About me

I am a freelance journalist born and raised in Prince Edward Island, and I now live in Toronto.

I started writing in 2013 to vent about my perils as a distance runner. Those perils remain real as ever, but I write about other things now. I am a contributing editor at Toronto Life, and a frequent contributor to the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, and MacLeans who writes primarily on business, health, tech, and sports.

Longform stories

Much of my time at work goes towards print, magazine-style written features.

Product Reviews

I often review men’s products for Yahoo Canada – particularly in the realms of health, fitness, and sports.

Reporting and news

My time as a general assignment news reporter at the Globe and Mail taught me how to write fast, accurate articles.
